Why are Single Origin different

 

Single origin coffees are different because they come from a specific region, farm, or even a single estate, which can influence the taste and characteristics of the coffee beans.

Factors such as altitude, soil type, climate, and processing methods can all affect the flavor profile of the coffee, resulting in unique taste notes and aromas that vary between different single origin coffees. Why is single origin different

This allows consumers to know the farm where they come from, giving complete transparency on the supply chain management, allowing farmers to reap the reward and gain recognition for producing delicious and award winning coffee. 

Single origin coffees are typically enjoyed without added milk to fully appreciate the unique characteristics of the specific coffee bean. However, adding milk can also enhance certain flavor notes. Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference.

Its important for roasters to adhere to keep the flavour profile of the origin of the coffee bean as best they can, giving the coffee bean its distinct and exotic taste profile. And allowing the work of the farmers that have spent at times, generations in explaining their coffee bean.
